SHU Football Game Day Information - CCSU Game

The Sacred Heart University football team returns home on Saturday, October 5 to host Central Connecticut State University. Game time is set for 2:00 pm. Sacred Heart University is celebrating Homecoming Weekend October 4-6 and large crowds are expected. Please plan accordingly as you plan your visit to Campus Field.

Ticket Information

All fans are required to have a ticket for entrance to Campus Field. Gates open 90 minutes before kickoff.  Padded, reserved seating is available at the 50-yard line for $15. These 50-yard line seats are for specific row and seat. All other sections of seating at Campus Field are General Admission, by section. Those tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for youth (under 18). Tickets can be purchased online,by calling the ticket office at 203-396-8499 or at the box office on Saturday. Groups rates are also available by calling 203-396-8499

Parking

Parking is on a first-come, first-served basis and is available through the main entrance of the SHU Campus off of Park Avenue. When those lots are filled, overflow parking is available (with shuttle service) from the West Campus. Please plan accordingly for travel time from your parking spot to the field. THERE IS NO PARKING at Notre Dame High School on Saturday, October 5thdue to a home football game for the high school. 

Shuttle Service

Shuttle service is available from West Campus parking lots to Edgerton Theatre on Saturday beginning at 9:30 am. This shuttle will run on a continuous loop. A game shuttle from West Campus to JP's Diner will begin at 11 am and will run on a loop until 8 p.m.

Homecoming Weekend

SHU Homecoming Weekend begins on Friday, October 4. Information on schedule of events and registration can be found at SacredHeart.edu/Registration.If you have purchased tickets to the Homecoming Weekend festivities you will enter Campus Field through the end zone gate located adjacent to the Bobby Valentine Building. 

Tailgate Village presented by Stamford Ford Lincoln

Tailgate Village presented by Stamford Ford Lincoln is the premier pre-game tailgating location for SHU Football games. Tailgate Village is sold out for the October 5 game. Single-game passes are also available for $100 for future games. Tailgate Village opens three hours before kick-off of every home SHU Football game. For information call 203-396-8499.

The Outpost Presented by Miller Lite

The Outpost presented by Miller Lite is a SHU innovation, family-friendly beer garden available during home football games. This week, The Outpost will be celebrating Oktoberfest, with live German –style music, beer-braised bratwurst with sauerkraut and German pretzels with dipping sauces.   The Outpost includes lawn games, raffles and giveaways.  Don't miss this week's themed contest, the "schnitzel toss", with prizes to be won. An exclusive beer garden menu is available for purchase, including craft beer, wine and spiked seltzer. This ticket includes access to the tented beer garden and on-field viewing area.  The Outpost ticket is $15 at the ticket booth/online, or a $5 upgrade once inside the gate.  The Outpost opens 90 minutes before kick-off.

Complimentary Tickets

Those fans that are listed on a team comp list can sign for their game tickets at the red ticket booth at the entrance to Campus Field. Please note that all fans being issued a ticket at this location MUST have a photo ID and must sign for their own ticket. No exceptions, due to NCAA rules.

Will Call

Will-Call tickets and credential pickup is also available at the red ticket booth. Please have a photo ID to collect your tickets or credential.

Volleyball Game

SHU volleyball is hosting Robert Morris at 7:00 pm at the Pitt Center. A game ticket is required for that event. Doors open at 6:00 pm. Fans attending the SHU volleyball match should plan extra time to find parking, as the football game will be ending around 6:00 pm.

CrowdPlay

SHU is excited to introduce CrowdPlay, an interactive, live trivia game at home football games this season. CrowdPlay is a free-to-play app that sends out live questions at the game, about the game! Fans compete against each other for cash prizes and other rewards! Questions will be sent out during stoppages and pertain directly to the game - so be sure to focus on the action!
