Sacred Heart Men's Golf Concludes Day One at Turning Stone-Tiger Intercollegiate

VERONA, N.Y.— The Sacred Heart University men's golf team opened up its 2018 fall season sitting in 14th place after day one at the annual Turning Stone-Tiger Intercollegiate at Turning Stone Resort & Casino on Sunday.

The Pioneers finished day one with a team score of +16 and a 304 total. Tournament host Missouri led the field after day one with a score of 10-under par. North Dakota sits in second as they shot par for the day.

Saptak Talwar led the Pioneers scoring group as he finished tied for 23rd at 2-over par. Clifford Lindholm finished tied for 32nd at +2-over par. Nathan Kim followed, tied for 39th after shooting four-over par. Alex Manner shot 5-over par and sits tied for 51st and Hector Gutierrez rounded out the SHU group at 14-over.

The Pioneers are back in action Monday when they complete the final rounds of the Turning Stone-Tiger Intercollegiate.
