Men's Golf Finishes in Third at Towson Invite

GRASONVILLE, MD––The Sacred Heart men's golf team finished tied for second at the Towson Invitational. The team finished day two +5 and +12 on the weekend. The Pioneers finished with a  total team score of 588. In round one the team shot a 295, while in round 2 the team shot a 293.

Saptak Talwar placed first out 93 golfers. He finished the tournament 5-under par for a total score of 139. Talwar shot a 69 in round one and a 70 in round two.

Clifford Lindholm was not far behind his teammate, tying for 4th. Lindholm shot 1-over par in round two to finish the tournament with a total score of 146.

Nathan Kim and Jake Sullivan tied for 40th. Kim shot 10-over par for a total score of 154. Sullivan shot 79 in round 1, and shot even better in round 2 with a 75.

Hector Guiterrez, and Alex Manner rounded out the group placing 46th and 56th respectively.

The Pioneers are back in action on Sunday April 14th when they host the SHU Spring Invite.
