Nathan Kim Sets Course Record for Men's Golf at SHU Spring Invite

MILFORD, CT- The Sacred Heart men's golf team placed first at the SHU Spring Invite at the Great Rivers Golf Club. The team shot 6-over par for a total score of 294. First-year Nathan Kim broke the course record and set the program record for lowest score with a 65 in the first round.

Kim sat in first out of 37 golfers after shooting 7-under par for a new course record. Kim's 65 broke the previous course record of 66, previously set by Pete Ballo in 2014.

Hector Gutierrez tied for 11th after finishing 3-over par with 75.

Saptak Talwar and Clifford Lindholm both tied for 16th, shooting a 77, while Jake Sullivan tied for 19th with a 78.

Alex Manner rounded out the group, tied for 26th overall. The Pioneer shot 8-over par for an 80 on the day.
