Nathan Kim Finishes Tied for Sixth at Hartford Hawks Invitational

SOUTH KENT, Conn. — SHU men's golf sophomore Nathan Kim finished tied for sixth of 107 competitors at the conclusion of the Hartford Hawks Invitational Tuesday afternoon. As a team, the Pioneers finished in seventh of 16 teams.

The Pioneers will be back in action on Sunday, Sept. 29, when the Pioneers take part in the UConn Collegiate invitational, held at Great Horse Golf Club in Hampden, Mass.

How It Happened

  • The Pioneers finished in seventh of 16 teams after three rounds, jumping up from 10th after day one

  • SHU finished with a team score of 876

  • Nathan Kim finished tied for sixth with a total score of 210

  • Kim's top-10 finish was his second of the season

  • Saptak Talwar shot one-under in the final round and finished tied for 18th with a score of 215

  • Clifford Lindholm finished tied for 40th with a 223 score

  • Shane Richardson competed as an individual and finished in 49th with a score of 226

  • UCF took home the win with a team score of 840

  • UCF had four golfers finish in the top-10
