Men's Volleyball Falls to George Mason, 3-0

FAIRFAX, Va. - The Sacred Heart University men's volleyball team fell to George Mason, 3-0, Friday evening on the road. The loss drops the Pioneers to 2-8 overall and 1-4 in the EIVA, while the Patriots improve to 11-4 on the year and 5-2 in EIVA play.

Emerson Waumans led the Pioneers with 13 kills and six digs, while. Noah Richetti led SHU with 20 assists in the loss.

The Pioneers return to action on Saturday, Mar. 2, when they play George Mason in an EIVA matchup at 7 p.m.

First Set: GMU 25, SHU 22

  • The Pioneers jumped out to a 4-2 lead

  • After George Mason tied the contest at 5-5 before the Pioneers went on a 3-0 run.

  • With the Pioneers leading 14-11, George Mason battled back to tie the contest at 15-15
