Head Coach Andy Lausier finishes his 1,116 mile bike ride that ends at the Scott Trade Center in St. Louis Missouri, the location that the 2017 NCAA Wrestling Championships will be held. SHU head wrestling coach Andy Lausier looks to continue his travels with a ride of 150 miles today. Todays trek should end in Donegal, PA. Coach Lausier has his eyes set on Ohio tommorow.

SHU head wrestling coach Andy Lausier began his 1,116 mile trek to Scottrade Center in St. Louis, Missouri Monday morning in a warm rain. The 170 mile opening day ride saw a flat tire and an early fall, but neither hiccup hindered the ride.

FAIRFIELD, Conn.- Sacred Heart Wrestling prepares to launch the #riding4wrestling campaign this year starting September 19th. Head Coach Andy Lausier will cycle 1,116 miles to the Scottrade Center in St. Louis, Missouri the site of the 2017 NCAA Wrestling Championships, to raise money for the SHU Wrestling team. Simultaneously, SHU wrestlers look to cycle with their coach in a one-hour relay segment, for 24 hours around the clock, for 7 straight days, on the campus of Sacred Heart University. Also joining Coach Lausier in the first day of travel is Executive Director of Athletics Bobby Valentine.
