  • Wrestling Completes Matches at David H. Lehman F&M Wrestling Open

    The Sacred Heart University Wrestling team completed its round of matches at the David H. Lehman F&M Wrestling Open this morning. Freshman Kyle Davis had the best day for the Pioneers as he tallied a total of 20 points in the 184 pound weight class as he won three out of the four matches he faced. The Pioneers will return to action on Saturday, Jan. 19 when the Pioneers host Ivy League foe Cornell.  
  • Wrestling Places Fifth at Wilkes Open While Burns and Levesque Each Place Third

    The Sacred Heart University Wrestling team wrapped up its matches at the 86th Wilkes Open hosted by Wilkes University. The Pioneers as a team placed fifth overall compiling 67.5 points overall. Rutgers unatt. team claimed first with 129 points.
  • Wrestling Splits Dual Meet Against VMI and Davidson

    The Sacred Heart University wrestling team split is dual meet with VMI and Davidson this afternoon as the Pioneers fell in the first match to VMI 20-19 while the Pioneers prevailed in the second match over Davidson 27-19. The team will return to action on Saturday Dec. 22 when the team competes at the Wilkes Open. The match begins at 9:00 a.m.
  • Jon Fausey Named New Assistant Wrestling Coach

    Sacred Heart University second-year head wrestling coach John Clark announced the addition of Jon Fausey as the Pioneers assistant coach. Fausey will assist in the day-to-day operations of the program, and will aid in practice planning and coaching and recruiting.
  • Wrestling Wraps Up Matches at Keystone Classic

    The Sacred Heart University Wrestling team completed play at the Keystone Classic this morning as the team placed 10th tallying 13.5 points. The team returns to action on Saturday, Dec. 1 when they head to North Carolina to take on Davidson and VMI.
  • Pioneers Defeat Bloomsburg and The Citadel While Falling to Appalachian State at Journeyman Classic

    The Sacred Heart University Wrestling team concluded its meets at the Journeyman Classic Tournament this morning. The Pioneers defeated Bloomsburg 24-19 and the Citadel 24-22 while falling to Appalachian State 55-0. The team returns to action on Sunday, Nov. 19 when they head to the Keystone Classic.
  • Sacred Heart Kicks-Off Season at Tiger Open

    The Sacred Heart wrestling team opened their season Saturday at the Princeton Open. The Pioneers entered as one of the 13 teams in attendance inside of Jadwin Gymnasium. The Pioneers hit the mat next Saturday, November 10 at the Journeyman Classic in Albany, NY. Sacred Heart will match up against Bloomsburg, Citadel, and Appalachian State.
  • SHU Wrestling Releases 2018-19 Schedule

    The Sacred Heart Wrestling Team released its 2018-19 schedule Tuesday, starting with the Tiger Open November 4 at Princeton University in New Jersey.
