  • Alissa Tarsi recorded two new career-highs on the boards Sunday. The senior tallied 12 rebounds, seven of which were offensive rebounds leading the Pioneers' on the glass as they combined to tie a season-high 52 rebounds, and marked a season-best 22 o-boards


Coming off the Bench...
For the first time this season, the SHU bench outscored the starting five. Coming off the bench, Cleo Polyzou, Erin Storck, Lerae Ettienne, Kiana Ye, Briana Hardee and Kelcey Castro combined for 26 of the Pioneers' 51 points against Vermont. Senior Castro led the way with seven points in her 18 minutes of action.


Cleaning up the Boards...
For the second time this season, the Pioneers pulled down 52 rebounds, tying the season high, against Vermont. Alissa Tarsi set two new career bests on the boards in the Pioneers' loss. The senior grabbed personal bests 12 rebounds and seven offensive boards. Her seven were a big part of SHU tallying a season-high 22 o-boards as a team. Junior Adaysha Williams also pulled down a season-high with seven rebounds.


Turning the Ball Over...
Turnovers have wounded the Pioneers in their last three contests. Agaisnt LA-Lafayette, St. John's and Vermont SHU totaled 73 turnovers, with their largest total of the season of 28 coming in the overtime loss to the Ragin' Cajans.


Road Woes...
The Pioneers are looking to end their six-game road trip on a high note Wedneday having lost 4 of their five road games this season. SHU's only win this season came against Coastal Carolina in a neutral game in the San Juan Shootout.
