Women's Golf Concludes Day Two of the Edwin Watts/Kiawah Island Classic

KIAWAH ISLAND, S.C. — The Sacred Heart University women's golf team concluded day two of the  Edwin Watts/Kiawah Island Classic, by moving up to 39th of 49 teams on Monday afternoon at Kiawah Resort Oak Point and Osprey Point.

Hana Bowman led the way for the Pioneers, finishing tied for 18rd out of 254 individuals at the invitational after shooting a 1-under on the day. As a team, SHU finished 54-over par and a 630 total. North Florida led after day two, finishing 1-over par and a 577 total.

Bowman's 18th place finish led the Pioneers, as she shot 1-under par (71) and 2-over par for the tournament (146). Chelsea Sedlar shot 3-over par (152), while Ana Contreras shot 5-over par (159). Maya Isom and Christina Massei rounded out the group by shooting 19-over par (179) and 13-over par (183) respectively.
