Softball Announces Three National Letter Of Intents to Join Class of 2023

FAIRFIELD, Conn.- Sacred Heart University Softball Head Coach Pam London announced on Wednesday that Myah Eldred, Olivia Vadas, and Carlie Williams have signed their National Letters of Intent to attend Sacred Heart for the 2020 season.

Eldred comes to Sacred Heart from Allen, Texas where she was a two time All District and Academic All-District Award Winner. In the past two years at Allen High School, Eldred tallied a .428 batting average with 6 HR, 3 Dobules and 45 base hits. She had a combined 33 stolen bases and a total of 33 walks. The Pioneers are truly excited to bring in this Texan to Connecticut as head coach Pam London stated below.

London on Eldred:  "Myah is an exciting softball player.  She plays with an infectious enthusiasm for our sport, and she has the skill level to match that enthusiasm.  As a very good power slapper, Myah would give us a another left handed bat in our line-up. Defensively, we see her playing outfield here at SHU but she can play infield if we need her to. She will be a fun addition to our team. We are very happy to have these three young ladies joining our SHU Softball Family.  They are great students with terrific work ethics, a recipe for success!
