Two Career-Best Swims Highlight Final Day At Frank Elm Invite

The Sacred Heart University swim team completed its three-day stay at Rutgers University and the Frank Elm Invite on Sunday. The Pioneers posted two career swims and seven collegiate-best performances

The 200 Breaststroke

Jessica Poole and Katrina Dy both qualified for the evening session, placing 28th and 32nd respectively.

Poole lowered her collegiate-best both times in the water, going 2:28.66 in the evening session, after touching at 2:30.73 in the morning heat

Dee Henry also recorded a collegiate-best swim in the event, clocking a 2:43.03 in her preliminary heat

The Mile

Nicole Sauve was the lone Pioneer in the 1,650 on Sunday and finished at 18:45.63, lowering her career-best in the event by more than half a minute 

She also posted a season-best time in the 1,000 with a split of 11:22

The 400 Freestyle Relay

The Pioneers placed 22nd in the relay, touching at 3:39.21, with Caleigh Dion (55.87), Emily Shenk (56.95) Olivia Decas (53.12) and Jillian Crosby (53.27) comprising the tea,

The 200 Butterfly

Siobhan Goodman posted a season-best as the lone Pioneer in the event, touching at 2:15.57

The 100 Freestyle

Kaylyn Cuozzo swam a career-best 58.17, one of three collegiate-best times for the Pioneers in the event

Suave (58.13) and Jessica Rice (1:00.37) both had collegiate-best swims, while Decas went 54.02, her best mid-season swim at a Pioneer
