Women's Volleyball Announces Signings for 2019 Season

FAIRFIELD, Conn. - Sacred Heart University women's volleyball head coach Rob Machan announced on Thursday that Michaela Devlin, Alana Felix and Jasmine Rogers signed their National Letters of Intent to attend Sacred Heart for the 2019 season.

"We are very excited for our 2019 class," Machan said. "All three are very talented players that each bring a unique dynamic to a very strong returning team."

Here is a look at the newest members of the Pioneers:

  • Varsity Starter all 4 years

  • First player in school history to win four district championships

  • All-League First or Second-Team 2nd member all four years

  • PIAA AAAA All-State Team

  • First team All-District

  • Club Team placed third in the National Division at USAV Nationals

Machan on Devlin: "Michaela adds good size and physicality to our team as well as one of the strongest arms in her class."

  • 2019 WIPAL Champions

  • 2018 North Catholic Featured Athlete of the Month (October 17th)

  • 2016-2018 WPIAL Girls Volleyball Quad A Section 4 First Team All Section

  • Second Team All-WPIAL (4A) as a sophomore

  • Third Team All-WPIAL (4A) as a freshman

Machan on Felix:  "Alana is a very skilled player and one of the best all-around athletes in the region."
