Ralph King

Ralph King is in his first year as a member of the Strength & Conditioning staff at Sacred Heart University in 2022-23. A professional intern, King will be working primarily with the SHU men's and women's track & field programs.

King arrives in Fairfield following a year-and-a-half stint -- which began during his undergraduate career -- as a strength & conditioning intern at the Division II level with University of Findlay, where he worked with numerous teams. Concurrent to his time with the Oilers, he also completed an internship at the Division I level with Kent State University. King served as a member of the Golden Flashes' football strength & conditioning staff.

As an undergraduate, King was an offensive lineman on the Findlay football team, which claimed a Great Midwest Conference title and made an NCAA Championship appearance in his senior season of 2022. He was a perennial dean's list and Academic All-Conference selection for the Oilers, and also served on the institution's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. King was Findlay's Health and Human Performance Undergraduate Student of the Year in 2021.

King is a 2022 graduate of Findlay, with a degree in strength & conditioning, and is expected to receive his master's in educational leadership from Findlay in spring of 2023 as well. He originally hails from Medina, Ohio.
