Sacred Heart University

Sloat enters his third season as assistant coach for the Sacred Heart women’s wrestling team. 
 
Sloat is an accomplished wrestler himself, earning numerous Greco Roman titles. Twice he's won the New England Championship and is a two-time Connecticut state champion. Sloat qualified for the 2013 World Team Trials in Oklahoma.

A native of Trumbull, Conn., Sloat earned his bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the University of Rhode Island with a minor in Mathematics.
