Sacred Heart University

Brendan Varley joined Sacred Heart University in 2024 as the Director of Ticket Sales through a partnership with Taymar Sales U. In this role, he is responsible for managing ticket sales strategy and execution for football, men’s ice hockey, and women’s/men’s basketball through community outreach. 
 
Prior to SHU, Varley spent the previous three years at St. John’s University/Learfield where he began his tenure as a Property Assistant before finishing as Senior Account Executive. Varley oversaw inventory for games at Madison Square Garden and led all Learfield reps in basketball group tickets sold his last season.
 
Varley was also the US Open Premium Seating Coordinator with the United States Tennis Association for the 2022 tournament. There, he worked with corporate luxury suites, serving as a liaison between the suite holders and USTA, while also overseeing renovations and furniture deliveries.
 
Prior to USTA, Varley served as a Merchandise Sales Representative with the New York Mets and a Community Relations & Fan Development Intern with the New York Islanders.
 
Varley graduated from St. John’s University in 2021 with a degree in Sport Management. There, he served as President of the school’s Sport Management Association where he was awarded with the Vincentian Spirit Award for Outstanding Contributions for his efforts in arranging networking events for club members.
 
A native of Levittown, N.Y., Varley currently resides in Trumbull, Conn.
