The Sacred Heart University football team wraps up non-conference action this weekend when it travels to Howard for a 1 p.m. kickoff. The Pioneers are trying to shake off a 41-3 loss at Dartmouth last weekend. The Bison come into the game looking for their first win of the year at 0-4.

• Looking to get back into the win column, the Sacred Heart football team travels to Howard on Saturday in the first meeting between the two teams.
• Under head coach Mark Nofri, Sacred Heart is 15-13 when playing an opponent for the first time. 
• The Pioneer defense is allowing 5.0 points per game at home, but surrendering 29.0 ppg. on the road.
• Sacred Heart is looking to snap a streak of four-straight non-conference losses on the road. SHU's last non-NEC win away from Campus Field was a 30-10 win at Bucknell on September 7, 2019.
• Since he took over as the starter, junior running back Malik Grant has averaged 100.6 yards per game.
