NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y.- A strong day on the diving platform wasn't enough as the Sacred Heart University swimming and diving team fell to Iona and Wagner on Saturday.

Of Note
- SHU swept the diving events taking first, second and third in both the 1 and 3-meter dives. Sophomore Olivia McNicholas took first in the 1-meter (213.30) while Megan McLaughlin took first in the 3-meter (227.40).
- Both meets were neck and neck and came down to the final two events of the afternoon.
- The 400-yard medley relay team of Meghan Hammarlund, Rosemery Nieto, Emma Chambers and Alivia Gibson took second with a time of 4:08.88.
- Nicole Tingley placed second in two events (200 IM and 100 freestyle) with times of 2:13.37 and 55.29.
- First-year Emma Chambers and Melanie Sanchez took first and second in the 200 butterfly with times of 2:10.13 and 2:12.01.
