LORETTO, Pa. – The Sacred Heart University women's soccer team posted its first draw of the Northeast Conference schedule on Sunday afternoon at Saint Francis. Junior
Desiree Crawford forced the game into SHU's third overtime match of the season, but neither team was able to find the back of the net during extra time as the game ended, 1-1.

th minute, Saint Francis launched a shot from outside the 18 that bounced off the crossbar. Leanna Choo raced for the rebound, but her first attempt was stopped by
Elyssa Kipperman. Choo remained relentless and volleyed the second rebound into the back of the net.
Just six minutes later,
Jaci Budaj found Crawford alone in the middle of the Pioneers' attacking third. Crawford took a chance and the ball bounced past the Saint Francis keeper to knot the score at one apiece. The game-tying goal marks Crawford's fifth of the season as she sits with
Grace O'Hara as the team's leading goal scorers.
Sacred Heart proved to be the aggressor in the second half as they outshot Saint Francis, 12-4. At the end of both overtimes, the Pioneers finished with 19 shots and 10 on goal, compared to the Red Flash who posted nine shots with six on target.
The Red & White attempted all six of their corner kick opportunities in the first half, leaving Saint Francis with two.
Four Pioneers posted three or more shots in the contest, led by
Azria Malloy with a season-high of five. O'Hara tallied four, followed by
Michelle Clarkin and Crawford each with three.
