FAIRFIELD, Conn. – The Sacred Heart University men's tennis team fell, 5-2, at Fairfield on Saturday to conclude the fall schedule.
The Pioneers were unable to grab a doubles win despite
Kevin Chao and Phillip Lynch forcing a tiebreaker that ended, 7-5, in Fairfield's favor.
Sophomore
Lefteri Apostolou was victorious at second singles, and first-year
Matyas Vencl held on at number three to score for the Red & White.
The men are back in action on January 22 at Brown.
