Madison Sandquist claimed the crown at the Adrian Open on Sunday.

The Humble, Texas native rolled through all three opponents she faced in the 143-pound weight class. Her first match was her longest as she pinned Lindenwood's Kelly Escamilla in 4:37. In the semifinals, he took down Megan Struble from Wisconsin-Stevens Point in 4:13. Sandquist only needed 29 seconds to pin Gannon's Stephanie Floor to win the championship.

Jacklyn Smith dropped both matches at 155 pounds and Savannah Vanase lost her only bout at 136 pounds.
