Aaron Clarke matched his career-best of 24 points but it wasn't enough as the Sacred Heart University men's basketball team fell to Brown, 79-66, in Providence.

Tyler Thomas netted the first 11 points for the Red & White to grab an initial 11-5 lead, but the Bears poured in 10 unanswered points to take back the advantage and never look back. Brown shot 63% from the field in the first 20 minutes with 20 of their 43 points coming from the paint.
Brown grew to its largest lead of the day with under five minutes remaining in the game, 75-56.
The Pioneers had trouble finding a flow on the offensive side of the floor with their largest scoring run occurring early in the first half at just 6-0. SHU finished the game shooting 24-for-59 form the field (40.7%) and 9-for-27 from distance (33.3%)
Clarke tied his career high of 24 points for his second 20+ point performance of the season. The Parsippany, N.J. native shot 64.3% (9-14) from the field and 50% (3-6) from three.
Nico Galette and Thomas also contributed double-figures. Thomas added 18 points and three steals while Galette tallied 10 points and eight rebounds.
Sacred Heart falls to 3-6 all-time against Brown at the Bears remain undefeated on their home court against the Pioneers.
