Box Score EMMITSBURG, Md. – It's been 24 days since the Sacred Heart University men's lacrosse team took the field. After a slow start Wednesday at Mount St. Mary's, the Pioneers worked their way back into the game but the Mountaineers used a fourth quarter push for the 14-12 victory.

SHU was shutout in the first quarter, but turned the tables in the second quarter. Five different Pioneers scored, capped by Max Lionetti's goal with 3:23 left in the half.
Mount St. Mary's got off to another fast start in the third quarter, opening a 10-6 advantage.
Drew Edwards scored twice in the final four minutes with his goal with 49 seconds remaining tied the game at 10-10 going into the final period.
Edwards' fourth goal of the game came at the 4:41 mark of the fourth quarter and cut the MSM lead to 13-12.
The Mountaineers answered 32 later and SHU had five shots in the final four minutes but could not convert.
Tying his season-high was Edwards with four goals while Logan Liljeberg's five points is his second-highest total of the season.
