FAIRFIELD, Conn. – The Sacred Heart University women's volleyball team got out to a fast start Thursday night against Fairleigh Dickinson and never looked back. The Pioneers toppled the Knights, 3-0 (25-16, 25-18, 25-17).

An 8-2 run at the start of the match gave the Pioneers plenty of cushion. FDU closed within 16-13 in the second stanza only to see Sacred Heart respond with a 5-1 run. Blocks by Ciszek and
Kate Anderson capped a 14-7 run to clinch the match.
