WORCESTER, Mass.— The Sacred Heart University men's soccer team played in its second road contest of the season at Holy Cross on Saturday. Unfortunately, the Pioneers came up short against the Crusaders 2-0.
Holy Cross tallied both goals within a 10 minute-span in the second half. Max Krause scored the first goal for the Crusaders at the 66th minute mark followed by Dylan Scanley at the 75th.
The Crusaders outshot the Pioneers, 9-5, and SHU goalie Justin Siegel collected two saves throughout the game.
Up next, Sacred Heart returns home for the next three games beginning with Quinnipiac on Wednesday at 3 pm.
