The game was tied four times in the first half before Sacred Heart took the 25-21 advantage going into halftime.
Wagner went on a 13-0 run with under five minutes left in the third quarter to take its first lead of the game, 37-30. The Pioneers could not get back in the game as they were held to just 13 points in the second half.
The Seahawks scored 19 of their points off 14 Pioneer turnovers. SHU could not get its offense going in the second half, shooting 18.5 percent from the floor and 11.1 percent behind the arc.
Nikki Johnson led the Pioneers with 10 points.
Carly Stroemel added seven points and five rebounds.
