FAIRFIELD, Conn.- The Sacred Heart University men's basketball team fell to New Jersey Institute of Technology, 85-75 on Tuesday afternoon at home. Junior Nico Galette scored 22 points, leading three players in double figures for the Pioneers.

Of Note: 
A three-pointer by Reilly at 11:36 in the first half would tie the game 20-20, followed by a jumper by Galette that gave the Pioneers a 22-20 lead. The Highlanders answered with a 17-0 run to take a 37-22 lead that capped off with 4:06 left in the first half. Sacred Heart answered with an 8-2 run to close out the first half trailing, 39-32.

A jumper by Solomon at 18:26 in the second half would bring the Pioneers within five, 41-36, but NJIT answered and took as much as a 16-point lead to put the game away.

Sacred Heart battled back but couldn't come out on top as they finished the game down by 10 for the 85-75 final.
