PITTSBURGH – For the first four quarters of Saturday's Northeast Conference contest, the Sacred Heart University football had the answer anytime Duquesne scored. Unfortunately, the Pioneers couldn't answer in overtime as the Dukes prevailed, 35-28.

Duquesne got the ball first in overtime and scored on an eight-yard Billy Lucas run.

During its overtime possession, SHU had 3
rd & 1 from the Duquesne 16, but was stopped on consecutive runs to end the game.Â

Womack had his second 100-yard game in the last four outings, pulling in 123 yards and the touchdown. Running back
Malik Grant had 119 total yards with 87 on the ground and 32 in the air.Â

Sacred Heart took the opening drive and marched 75 yards for the score. Grant capped the drive with a three-yard touchdown run. McCray kept the drive alive with his feet, scrambling for 11 yards on 3
rd & 10.

The Pioneers evened the game right before the half thanks to a 93-yard drive that only took 2:18. McCray hit Womack for a 39-yard pass then found
Rob DiNota from 15-yards out to make it 14-14 at the intermission.

The hosts got the first score of the second half, but on Duquesne's next drive, the Pioneers produced a big stop on fourth down. Five plays later, quarterback
Rob McCoy broke through for a 46-yard touchdown run to knot the game at 21-21.
