ROCHESTER, N.Y.- Not done yet. The Sacred Heart University men's ice hockey team bounced back after an overtime loss the following night defeating RIT 3-1 in game two of the Atlantic Hockey Association Quarterfinals on Saturday.

Of Note:
- The Pioneers were the first team to strike as Dante Palecco tallied his third goal of the season with 7:53 remaining in the opening period to put SHU ahead 1-0.
- SHU came back even more aggressive in the second period as Adam Tisdale found the empty-net off a rebound with 12:41 left in the period to take a commanding 2-0 lead.
- Over a minute later, Braeden Tuck put the Pioneers up three goals with his 12th goal of the season with 11:28 remaining in the second period.
- RIT did tally one goal in the final minutes of the period off the stick of Gianfranco Cassaro, 12:23 into the period.
- The Pioneers outshot the Tigers 26-18 in the game while they blocked 26 shots.
- The last time SHU faced RIT in a game three in the quarterfinals came during the 2018-19 season when they fell 3-1.
