QUEENS, N.Y. — The Sacred Heart University baseball team fell, 15-4, at St. John's on Friday.

Of Note:
The Pioneers knocked of the park for a season-high and is the first homerun against St John's in their short two-year history.

Sam Mongelli drilled his third homerun this season as the ball soars out of left field to open the game.

St. John's tallied two runs in the bottom of the first to take the, 3-1, lead. The Red Storm remained hot with four more runs in the next frame.

In the fifth inning, Joe Emerson homered down the left field line for his first this season and second of his career. 

St. John's padded its lead with eight runs across the fifth, seventh and eighth innings.

Pinch hitter Steven Schoen singled through the middle to allow Ryan Donnelly to cross home to shorten the margin with 10 in the eighth.
