NEW HAVEN, Conn. -- The Sacred Heart University field hockey team got on the board in the fourth quarter, but it wasn't enough against Vermont on Sunday. The Pioneer's fell 4-1 to the Catamounts at Johnson Field.

Off a penalty corner, rookie Emma Bradford recorded the first goal of her collegiate career with five minutes left in the game. Classmate Lizzie Mendrzycki provided the assists for her first collegiate point.
 
The two teams were virtually identical on shots (16-to-14) with the Catamounts getting nearly double the number of shots on goals (8-5).
