Iowa City, Iowa – Facing tough competition at the Trailblazer Duals, the No. 5 Sacred Heart women's wrestling team more than held its own against three nationally ranked Division I programs - No. 8 Iowa, No. 11 Lindenwood, and No. 13 Presbyterian. The Pioneers started the day with a 40-4 setback against the Hawkeyes, before coming up short to the Lions, 22-20. SHU completed the day with a 26-18 win over the Blue Hose.

• Madeline Hodges highlighted the day for the Pioneers as the Midlothian, Texas native finished with an overall record of 3-0 in her weight class (191-pounds).
• In the 155-pound weight class, Madison Sandquist picked up a pair of wins against Presbyterian's Madeline Kubicki and Lindenwood's Rebecca Strong. 
• Ahsia Torres also earned two wins for the Pioneers after defeating Presbyterian's Grace York in the 109-pound weight class and Lindenwood's Sienna Caruso in the 116-pound weight class. 
• Aaliyah Payne-Parris, Love Daly, and Cara Broadus posted a win for the Pioneers.
