Stonehill scored in the final two seconds, but Sacred Heart was able to finish with the 77-72 final.

A Reilly triple put the Pioneers ahead by 11 midway through the opening half, 18-7. Sacred Heart maintained a double-figure advantage until the Skyhawks scored five straight to cut their deficit to five, 26-21 at 4:48 in the first.

With 2:34 left in the first half, Kyle McGee knocked down a trey to put SHU ahead, 33-28. Stonehill answered with five straight points to tie the game at 33-33 with 1:29 left before the break.

A layup by Raymond Espinal-Guzman and a three-pointer from Aidan Carpenter put SHU ahead, 38-33, with 43 seconds left in the half, but the Skyhawks made a layup with six seconds left to cut the deficit to 38-35 at the halftime break.

Sacred Heart made 12 three-pointers as Reilly went 4-for-6 from behind the arc, and Sixsmith went 3-for-4 for his nine points.
