EAST LONGMEADOW, N.Y. — The Sacred Heart University women's diving team dominated the ECAC Winter Championships, highlighted by Ryleigh Mahoney earning Diver of the Meet and Head Coach Adam Vance being named Coach of the Meet.
Mahoney delivered a standout performance throughout the weekend, winning the 1M on day one with a score of 283.35. She continued her momentum on day two, taking first in the 3M prelims (278.20) and first again in the 3M finals (264.60).
Sinclair Yadao also put together a strong meet, finishing second in the 1M on day one, second in the 3M prelims on day two, and third in the 3M finals. Phifey Boyers added a third-place finish in the 1M, a fifth-place showing in the 3M prelims, and a runner-up finish in the 3M finals. Kara Leahy rounded out SHU's top scorers, placing fourth in the 3M prelims and seventh in the 3M finals.
The Pioneers' divers will next compete on December 13 at the CSCAA Open Water National Championships in Sarasota, Florida.
