FAIRFIELD, Conn. - The Sacred Heart men's tennis team dropped a 6-1 decision to Fairfield in its season finale on a beautiful spring afternoon at the WAC Outdoor Courts.
The Pioneers won the doubles point behind victories from
Charlie Levinson and
Antoine Hernandez, 7-5 at No. 1, and
Milan Karajovic and
Vayo Rodriguez, 6-4 at No. 3.
Two of the six singles matches were decided in super tiebreakers, both going to the Stags.
The Pioneers finish their first season in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference with two league wins.
