FAIRFIELD, Conn. – The Sacred Heart University women's rugby team placed 12 Pioneers on the 2024-25 National Intercollegiate Rugby Association (NIRA) All-Academic team, as announced by the league on Wednesday afternoon.
To be eligible for this honor, a student-athlete must be in at least their sophomore year and have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or above. They also must have made a significant contribution to the team, competing in at least half of the team's games this season.
