YAPHANK, NY - Stony Brook University scored six runs in the third inning, helped by a pair of Pioneer errors, and used that to come away with an 8-4 win over Sacred Heart Tuesday afternoon.

Another RBI single by Hanson in the third inning gave the Pioneers a 2-1 lead. Robert Leonard then lifted a sacrifice fly to right for the second out to tie the score. Michael Tansey then singled to right and advanced to third on an error, allowing two more runs to score. Another error on a ball hit to right by Keith Fier opened the flood gates and the Seawolves led 7-2 at the end of the inning.
