SHU Wrestling Competes at the Brute Invitational

Lock Haven, PA – The Sacred Heart wrestling team traveled to Lock Haven University over the weekend to compete at the Brute Invitational against 13 other teams. The Pioneers finished in 12^th place.

The Pioneers were highlighted by senior Sam Sheppard (Shoreham, NY) and junior Sam Morison (Conshohocken, PA). Sheppard earned a victory over Franklin and Marshall's Ewok Eshun by pin. Morison grabbed a pin victory against Kenneth Smith of host Lock Haven. Sheppard competed in the 174 weight class, while Morison wrestled at 197.

The Pioneers hit the road again traveling to Boston University on January 12^th.
