Box Score (Las Cruces, NM) – The Sacred Heart University Baseball team lost 14-2 Sunday to New Mexico State University to conclude a four-game sweep at the hands of the Aggies to start the 2012 season.
Keaton Flint (Charlton, NY) went 2-3 and scored both SHU runs at the top of the order. John Murphy gave the Pioneers an early 1-0 lead with an RBI single in the first, but the Aggies responded with a seven-run second inning.
Zac Fisher went 3-3 with three runs and two RBI, and Kurt Snowley went 2-3 with four RBI and two runs for New Mexico State.
The Pioneers are next in action on March 5 in Port Charlotte, CL when they begin their seven-game trip to Florida.
