Sacred Heart junior Blair Koniszewski (Vienna, VA) is playing with Global Sports Academy Summer Collegiate Basketball Tour from August 7th through 15th. Koniszewski along with a team of fellow collegiate players will be making stops in Belgium, Germany and Paris, France.
Koniszewski will be checking in on her travels throughout Europe to share her experience playing on the international stage.

After a pair of games this weekend in Germany, today is an offday for us as we make the trip over to Paris. While in Germany we did plenty of sight seeing and shopping in both Cologne and Dusseldorf. Our team played a pair of games against a team called Hagen and won both games by 25 points. After each game our opponents shared dinner with us, which was a great experience. We will play our final game on Tuesday against Houthelan in Paris and return home to the states on Wednesday. But before that, a day of sightseeing in the City of Lights!

Another win today as we played with the men's team in a double header against Fleurus. Raven Barber from Mount St. Mary's is a forward on the men's team. After we posted an 81-34 win, we finished our travels through Belgium with a tour of the captial city of Brussells. A stop at the House of the King capped off our stay in this beautiful country. It is now on to Germany!

We had our first game action yesterday, taking on First Land, a Division 2 Pro Team. Great first game, picking up a 97-63 win. The Northeast Conference has a presence on our squad with Fairleigh Dickinson guard Danielle Pankey and Mount St. Mary's guard Ashley Christie along with Mount coach Denise King. I need to get used to the international rules, picked up three fouls in my five minutes of action today. Glad we got the win! We also got to tour the beautiful city of Brugge where we did quite a bit of shopping. Back on the court on Friday against Fleurus.
