Setting the Scene... Coming in on a three win streak, the Sacred Heart Women's Basketball Team hosts the Bryant Bulldogs on Monday night at 7:00 p.m. in the William H. Pitt Center. In Saturday's win over Monmouth, sophomore Gabrielle Washington posted 24 points on 11 field goals, while senior Kiley Evans put up 19 points shooting 72.7% from the field (8-11).
Series Notes... This is the 16th time in program history the Pioneers have played Bryant
- The Pioneers lead the all-time series, 8-7
- Sacred Heart is 7-0 against the Bulldogs since Bryant joined the Division I
ranks and the Northeast Conference four years ago
- When facing each other as Division II teams, the Bulldogs led the series 1-7,
with SHU only taking one game at home
SHU Against the NEC... Sacred Heart is 198-99 all-time against Northeast Conference opponents
- The Pioneers went 15-3 last season against the NEC, including three
tournament wins en route to their third NEC Championship
- Sacred Heart only lost to Quinnipiac, Monmouth and LIU Brooklyn last year
