Reisterstown, MD – The Sacred Heart women's ice hockey team fell 4-1 on the road Saturday night to the Stevenson Mustangs at the Reisterstown SportsPlex. Sacred Heart falls to 3-4-1 on the season.

Stevenson scored all four of its goals in the third period, with Katie Abbott starting the scoring at 5:35 of the third period.  Erin McLoughlin added the Mustangs second goal just over a minute later. Madison Lange and McKenzie Taggart also notched goals in the third period.

Junior Casey Stathopoulos (Waltham, MA) scored the Pioneers' lone goal of the night at 7:47 of the third period. Freshman Amie Varano (Duxbury, MA) notched the assist. Stathopoulos leads the team with four goals and four assists this season.

Sacred Heart looks to rebound Friday night at the University of New England.
