SHU Swimming Falls to CW Post

Brookville, NY – The Sacred Heart women's swimming team lost a tight battle to C.W Post, 122-11, Friday night in Brookville, New York.
The pioneers were highlighted by Merideth Nyser (Barrington, RI), who earned first place in the 1000-yard freestyle with a time of 11:02.12, and Stephanie Walters (Wanaque, NJ) who grabbed first in the 100 Yard Breaststroke with a time of 1:11.74.
"We looked great in a lot of our races, and this meet really showed that we are where we need to be heading into this last portion of training. We're all incredibly eager now to take on the rest of the NEC at the end of the month," commented Head Coach Brent Noble.
The Pioneers will be in action next when they compete at the NEC Championships, starting February 27th.
