Swimming Completes First Semester Portion Of Dual Meet Schedule

The Sacred Heart University women's swim team fell 117-102 to host LIU Post in the Pioneers final dual meet of the first semester.
The Pioneers had four second place finishes on the afternoon, beginning with Hannah O'Brien in the 1,000 freestyle. She just missed her dual meet season best time as she touched in 11:27.19. The rookie anchored the Pioneers second-place 200 freestyle relay team as well.
Malvina Reinhold swam a 1:14.15 100 yard breaststroke to earn second place in that event. She also earned first place points in the 200 breaststroke (2:45.95) and 200 individual medley (2:32.19). Siobhan Goodman touched second in the 200 butterfly, in a time of 2:21.58. She had first place points in the 100 butterfly (1:05.59) and swam a leg on the Pioneers third place 200 medley relay.
The Pioneers touched second and third in the 200 backstroke, with the two SHU swimmer separated by just .29 seconds. Anna Brown touched in 2:16.69 to finished second and Jillian Crosby placed third at 2:16.98.
