FAIRFIELD, CONN.- The Sacred Heart Pioneers continue to dominate the NEC as they take out the second place Bryant Bulldogs in three straight sets. This win solidifies the Pioneers as the regular season Champions and will now host the NEC Tournament November 19-20^th. The Pioneers are now 12-1 in the conference and move on the CCSU tomorrow at 4:00pm.

FIRST SET- In the most exciting set of the night the Pioneers held of the bulldogs late after a great first set for Senior Sarah Krufka who tallied seven kills in the opening set. Senior Ana Gonzalez continued to dictate the service line adding two aces in the first set to help the pioneers win 25-20.

SECOND SET- The Pioneers came into the second set tied up at 13-13, which led to a Pioneer 8 point run, 5 points coming from Bryant errors. The Pioneers closed the set 25-16.

THIRD SET- As the match continued the Sacred Heart team looked on point as they continued in the third set at the same rate as the last. Jumping to an 18-12 lead, Makayla Dole added 5 kills in the final set to end the match 25-18.

The Pioneers are back at home for Senior Day tomorrow and to close out the regular season against CCSU at 4:00pm.
