SHELTON, Conn. – The Sacred Heart women's ice hockey team completed its weekend series versus Post University with a 5-0 win on Saturday night at the SportCenter of Connecticut in Shelton. 

Jayne Lewis opened the scoring for the Pioneers in the first period at the 5:42 mark, assisted by Taylor Moreland. SHU would extend their lead with two additional goals in the first period. Marissa Letizio scored her ever goal for SHU, unassisted at the 12:01 mark. Meghan Kebalka completed the first period scoring for SHU with a goal at the 14:15 mark, assisted by Jordan Sanislo. 

Taylor Moreland would add the fourth goal for the Pioneers at the 14:01 mark in the second period, assisted by Katie Stueve and Theresa Hulse.

Katie Stueve completed the scoring for SHU in the 3rd period with a goal at the 4:02 mark, assisted by Taylor Moreland and Jayne Lewis.

SHU is back in action on Saturday, Nov. 11 at Holy Cross at 2 pm.
