
Pioneers Pick Up Three Wins Against Brown As They Fall 29-13

The Sacred Heart wrestling team took on Brown University and picked up three victories in the process. The Pioneers were led by Gerard Daly, Paul Klee, and Alex Harnsberger as they were the three Sacred Heart wrestlers with success. The team went on to lose the dual 29-13.
After giving up a forfeit at 125 pounds the Pioneers had no problem returning the favor. Gerard Daly picked up a late fall over Brown's Nick Lattanze, to even the dual up 6-6. As the dual continued the Pioneers picked up another major win at 141 pounds, coming from Paul Klee. Klee picked up the 13-4 major decision over Zeke Salvo to move the dual score 10-6 with the Pioneers in the lead. Sacred Heart maintained the lead as Alex Harnsberger picked up the third straight victory for SHU with a 7-2 decision. The dual stood 13-6 with the Pioneers ahead, but Brown would respond rattling off six straight wins to close out the dual, 29-13.
The Pioneers have two dual meets left before heading to the EIVA Championships at Bucknell. The Pioneers will hit the road Friday the 17th to take on VMI at 7:00pm, and close out the year against George Mason on the 19th.
