Wrestling Splits Dual Meet Against VMI and Davidson

RALIEGH, N.C.- The Sacred Heart University wrestling team split is dual meet with VMI and Davidson this afternoon as the Pioneers fell in the first match to VMI 20-19 while the Pioneers prevailed in the second match over Davidson 27-19. The team will return to action on Saturday Dec. 22 when the team competes at the Wilkes Open. The match begins at 9:00 a.m. With the win, the team has won the most amount of matches against Division 1 opponents since the 2003-04 season as the Pioneers have tallied three overall so far this season.
