Assistant coach Jennifer Salomon began. "Senior Margaret Woods, Sophomore Allie Rinaldi, and Freshman duo Isabel Cuddy and Tessa Buckey had an outstanding tournament, both defensively and offensively. We have a tendency to start slow and build momentum as we go in tournaments like these. As we move forward, we cannot afford to be caught off guard from the first kick off. Despite this, SHU did an outstanding job fixing small details each game to finish the day off with a win."
Salomon continued. "We spent the last week heavily working on restarts, both kickoff and kick off receive. It was great to see how that paid off in this tournament as we were able to win restarts and maintain ball possession in the restart receives."
