Argentina Trip Game Three Recap: SHU 70, Harrods 50

The Sacred Heart University women's basketball team defeated host Harrods on Sunday night, 70-50. Adrianne Hagood and Asia McCray both scored in double figures in the victory,
The Pioneers jumped out to an early lead, scoring 24 points in the opening period, to take a 24-11 lead. SHU scored 13 points in the second stanza, stretching its advantage to 37-19 at the break. SHU scored 16 points in the third quarter and 17 in the fourth quarter to seal the victory.
Hagood connected on seven field goals, one from behind the arc and made four free throws to score her 19 points. McCray also connected once from behind the line and had four free throws for her 11 points. Allyson Murphy and Jayla Davis both added eight points, with a three-point field goal each.
SHU knocked down six three pointers in the game and hit 16 free throws.
The Pioneers play the final game of their Argentina Tour Monday evening versus the Argentina U18 National Team.
